If you plan to use public transport, you can reach us by train or bus. Simply disembark at Cultra and take a leisurely walk up the hill, following the signs for the Ulster Folk Museum. Once you reach the security barrier, feel free to ask for directions to the Administration building.

Regarding photography, researchers are permitted to take photographs of archival documents. However, it is necessary to complete the Researcher Agreement Form and Non-Disclosure Agreement forms before doing so.
Under no circumstances is a researcher permitted to make a copy of Sound Archive recordings to a personal device or other location.
While the book collections of the Library are catalogued and searchable on our Collections Online platform. Please note that there is not a complete online catalogue for archival content at present.
You do not need to pay an entry fee to the administration building in order to access the Library & Archives. Entry is free of charge.

There is a seated area for dining in an adjacent building which offers vending machine and hot water access. However, it may be advisable to bring a packed lunch on your visit.
No, it's important to note that the archival collections of the Ulster American Folk Park are not housed in the Library & Archives at Cultra. Instead, they are located at the Mellon Centre for Migration Studies, which is situated on the same site near Omagh.
